Four puppies were killed by a cobra on September 18, 2018 in the Bhadrak district of orissa state in eastern India. The mother dog howled at the cobra, trying to protect her remaining children. Then the snake changed its direction of attack, and the mother stopped the attack by barking, even though she was afraid to back off.
